Opal (Lux #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Paperback: 452 pages
Publisher: Entangled (11 Dec 2012)
Language: English
ISBN-10: 1620610094

No one is like Daemon Black.

When he set out to prove his feelings for me, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something I’ll do again, and now that we’ve made it through the rough patches, well... There’s a lot of spontaneous combustion going on.

But even he can’t protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they love.

After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different... And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable of. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.

Together we’re stronger... and they know it.

Cover:  I really love the covers for this series.  I love the vibrant colours, and the cover models are the perfect Katy and Daemon.

I read Obsidian and Onyx back to back not long ago, and absolutely fell in love with the series, and couldn't wait to delve into the next book.
I wasn't disappointed.
Ahhh the feels.
Obviously as this is book 3 in the series, I don't want to spoil anything for anyone.
But this series is just getting better and better, more intense, more action.
Daemon is of course a huge part of why I love this series so much.  He's is so HOT!  You can't but love an arrogant, yet sweet guy.  How are we meant to resist that?!?!
The romance between Daemon and Katy is one of my favourites.  Their chemistry- sparks just fly between them, and I'm hooked on reading about them.
The ending of this one was absolutely evil.  I'm so pleased that I have the next book on my shelf ready to go.  If I'd had to wait for the release I don't think my heart could have taken it.
5/5 stars!
Highly recommend this series to everyone and anyone!
