I had heard a lot of amazing things about this book, so finally took the plunge and picked it up.
And I'm so glad that I did! I loved it.
Vampires and the Amish. Doesn't sound like the two go together. But it made for a dark, creepy read.
There were definitely moments where I was creeped out. There was even a few moments that made me jump.
It was much darker and graphic than I was expecting, which isn't normally something I'm drawn to, but I was hooked.
I loved Katie as a character, her struggle between how she has been raised and how to actually feels.
I was hooked from the get go, and couldn't put it down. I can't wait to pick up the sequel.
