I was in a bit of a reading slump, and so was craving some simple, contemporary romance.
I read The Return of Rafe MacKade and really enjoyed it, so decided to pick up the second book straight away.
I enjoyed this one too. Savannah was one tough, sassy lady. I loved her character.
Jared was a lawyer, who had a failed marriage behind him.
They were an unlikely pair, but I really liked them together.
Jared was a bit annoying, not trusting Savannah, having double standards.
But he redeemed himself eventually.
Another sweet little read. Perfect for when I don't know what to read.
